Case hardened steel skin guarantees long life. Interchangeable strap buttons allow the same strap tobe used with several guitars. Release tested up to 800lbs. of pull, Dunlop Straplok buttons will not come loose under normal playing conditions.

Seems to be pretty durable. I haven't had it long. The adhesive is still holding up as I applied it to the wall for a vertical hang to keep the block off the floor in my studio. I don't recommend trying to apply this to a wall that would have some kind of texture as the adhesive probably wouldn't hold very well. It's made for flat surfaces only or a wood surface. Make sure you clean the dust off the area you plan to attach to. As everyone knows charging blocks for PCs are incredibly huge and heavy; so far so good.
