Antique Brass Meat Cover Repurposed as Wall HangingA large oval brass dome, originally a meat cover, now doing its best work on the wall. The surface is worked all over with pierced and engraved decoration in an arabesque style: a radiating mandala at the centre, surrounded by crescent motifs and dot punched roundels. The handles at either side are cast and looped, giving it an easy hang. Condition: Good overall for age. The brass surface shows extensive patina and tarnishing consistent with genuine
