This is one of those simple things that just works exactly how you want it to. First off, it looks really nice on the counter. Swapping out rolls is just as easy, and the top cap keeps everything in place without being annoying to deal with. The weight is really what makes this stand out. The base is heavy enough that it stays put when you tear off a sheet, so you can actually use it one-handed without it tipping or sliding around. It feels solid and well made, not flimsy at all. Size-wise, it fits a standard roll easily and still has room for larger rolls, so you’re not fighting to get a new one on. Overall, it’s sturdy, looks good, and is genuinely easy to use day to day. It’s one of those upgrades that seems small but makes your kitchen feel a little more put together.
