Guimaro Ribeira Sacra "San Pedro" Tinto 2021The winery name Gumaro means rebel in the local Gallego dialect, and a rebellios streak is needed to farm the steep terraced vineyards in Ribera Sacra. The family was one for the first to join the region when it was established in the mid 1990s, before they sold their wine to local wine bars. This comes from a set of vineyards on the Sil river, all with over 65 year old vines atop salte with iron and quartz. It is 80% Mencia, with the remainder split
