Four birds perch around the edge, each carved separately in a paler, whiter marble that sits in gentle contrast to the warm honey and grey veined body below. Likely late 19th to early 20th century, circa 18801920. Condition: The alabaster body presents with good age appropriate patina and warm honey

Yes, these are "old lady" boxers, but you can't beat the comfort and the fact that they are all cotton with covered elastic. I usually wear a 7 in Hanes, etc. Large (or ex lg if you want them looser) fit me fine. They looked small out of the package, and even smaller after washing, but still fit. Size up if you are unsure.
