Her warm amber brown plumage, soft red accents, and sharp crest make her one of the most elegant birds in the Canadian garden. Unlike many songbirds, she sings and male and female cardinals are known to sing duets. Each bird is handcrafted in Nova Scotia from layered fused glass, with wire legs fired into the glass body.
